How does Advanced Dentistry improve the community?
Last week we discussed how Advanced Dentistry by Design was different from other practices because of our desire to be the best. The same philosophy of excellence applies not only to our dental work, but to our desire of helping our neighbors as well. In our office, our team members have a combination of 25 children ranging in age from 2 to 33, and 5 grandchildren. We are mothers, fathers, grandmothers, aunts and uncles, and the thought of children going hungry in our community is unfathomable. Once again we have teamed up with Food for Thought to raise donations as well as awareness for the children of Carson City and parts of Douglas County. Each Friday, Food for Thought provides a healthy bag of food for hungry children allowing them to eat on the weekends and to arrive at school on Monday nourished and ready to learn. We are currently offering up to a $100 credit on your account for each ten (10) items donated; treatment must be completed by December 31, 2014. HEALTHY food suggestions include: microwavable soups, juice boxes, peanut butter or cheese crackers, fruit cups, single serving bags of beef jerky, instant oatmeal, granola bars, pre-mixed tuna and crackers and 8 oz. non-refrigerated milk cartons. Donations may be brought to the office Monday through Thursday, and credit will be placed on your account for future work or can be brought with you to scheduled appointments. Please help us to help the children and to allow us to care for you in return! Come by and see us to drop off your donation at 403 W. Nye Lane in Carson City or, call us at (775) 400-2533. We thank you for your generosity in advance.
